About Tuscany Pines
Tuscany Pines is a unique walled community of 99 Tuscan-style town homes on 11
acres of gently rolling meadows full of old growth ponderosa pine trees.
The site design is a result of joint efforts between the developers, engineers
and arborists. More than 70% of the large trees are preserved and protected
to enhance the livability of the community and our neighborhood.
The location
for this development is in scenic Bend, Oregon adjoining OB Riley road
in the northwest section of the city. Tuscany Pines is very centrally
located with easy access to the Deschutes River, downtown, shopping, schools and
the parkway.
Design themes for the town homes were produced by renowned Portland architect Barry Smith. Smith's
designs were amplified and refined by Michael Layne, nationally recognized
master of Tuscan design.
The construction of these town homes is wood framed, multi-leveled with fire sprinklers, high efficient
forced air gas heating systems, tankless on demand water heaters and state of the art electrical and data systems. Exteriors utilize a wide
variety of materials and colors to create the Tuscan streetscape and provide
originality and uniqueness to each home. The town homes range in size
from 1,760 square feet to 3,206 square feet, with ten different floor plans
to choose from.
These homes are Earth Advantage certified, meeting Energy Star standards. Earth Advantage homes are designed and built to use 15% less energy than houses built according to standard practices. Earth Advantage homes must satisfy program requirements in each of four categories: energy efficiency, healthier indoor air, environmental responsibility and resource efficiency.
To enhance the community, we have created 3.5 acres of
beautifully landscaped open space with fountains , water features and
walking trails which creates a park like setting. In addition there is a 4100 square foot community center that encompasses an incredible
pool with cascading water features and spa.
